Raphael Mense

Hi Coaches -

Thank You for taking the time to visit my website. It means a lot to me as I have put a lot of work into it, but a little bit about myself:

My name is Raphael Alexander Mense and I live in Bedford, MA.  On the field my soccer nickname is "Rafa".  I am a right footed midfielder who prefers the 8 or 10 position, but I have regularly helped out on the 6 in my club team or as outside midfielder for my high school. As of 9/17/2023 I am pushing towards 5'10" and weigh 140 lbs, and I am projected to grow to at least 6 ft tall. I have loved to played soccer for as long as I can remember and have played club since age 6 and in the greater Boston area I started out at FC Stars where coach Tim Hallett taught me the basics as a youth, three years at NEFC helped me develop until I eventually went to Boston Bolts ECNL team. At this time, I play for IFA (formerly Juventus Academy) in the USYS National League (Official Team Name: IFA EDS Blue 2007 North). I was proud to be the captain of my club team this past season. However, right now as a junior at Bedford High School, I into my 3rd season at the varsity level where I have become a regular starter. As a Freshman and a Sophomore my High School Team won our league, the DCL Small. This year we hope to make it the 6th consecutive league title.
